Paul W.S. Anderson Casts Model as Lead in DEATH RACE 3000

Um, what the hell is Paul W.S. Anderson up to now? Since his model wifey-in-the-making Milla Jojovich is currently knocked up, he has decided to cast another model and virtual unknown as the lead in his upcoming DEATH RACE remake.

Former model Natalie Martinez is in talks to play Case, the romantic interest of Jason Statham’s Frankenstein.

Martinez has no acting experience and her claim to fame was being a model for Jennifer Lopez’s clothing line. Now I am not one to knock first time actors (I sometimes prefer unknowns cast as leads), but I don’t trust Anderson or his judgment.

Either Anderson chose Martinez because Jojovich introduced her to him, which would make this a big modeling conspiracy that I plan to bust, OR Anderson chose a model so he can get some pootang on the sly while Jojovich lies in bed infected with his demon seed. Both seem equally plausible.
