Remember these pictures of Jennifer Love Hewitt in a bikini? She received a lot of criticism on blogs for her body and she’s mad!
Jennifer recently posted the following on her website:
“This is the last time I will address this subject.
I’ve sat by in silence for a long time now about the way women’s bodies are constantly scrutinized. To set the record straight, I’m not upset for me, but for all of the girls out there that are struggling with their body image.
A size 2 is not fat! Nor will it ever be. And being a size 0 doesn’t make you beautiful.
What I should be doing is celebrating some of the best days of my life and my engagement to the man of my dreams, instead of having to deal with photographers taking invasive pictures from bad angles. I know what I look like, and so do my friends and family. And like all women out there should, I love my body.
To all girls with butts, boobs, hips and a waist, put on a bikini — put it on and stay strong.

Okay cool. I totally dig the standing up for ladies’ bodies thing. But is she really trying to claim that she is a size 2, and if so, in what world? There is absolutely no way she is a size 2. She looks like she is a size 10. By lying about her size and weight, she is further hurting her fans.

I totally agree with Dale D. It doesn't matter what size J is. If she's proud of her body and totally confortable with it that's all that matters. She has a great body and she should be able to go to the beach in a bikini without people taking pictures of her and calling her fat. That's the problem with this world. People are so quick to judge based on they way people look. Who cares what size JLH is. She's a very successful woman that desreves to be treated with respect for what she's accomplished in her life. The people that are judging her on her looks based on one picture and not taking into account everything she's ever done are complete idiots. She should be able to go out without being afraid that someone will take pics of her and post them on the internet for people to critisize.
GOOD GRIEF, have you people ever been to the beach ? There are women out there that would gag a magot. Why don't they take pictures of them ? I'll tell you why, Nobody would be able to look at them. Leave Jennifer alone, she looks nice just the way she is.

The reason she appears bigger is because she has breasts which keep her well proportioned and not looking like a waif. I might have understood had you argued a size 4 but anything above that is just being nasty. Put your glasses on next time.
So anything above a size 4 is nasty? If you're the same size as Jennifer in this picture, than you're fooling yourself into believing you're a size 2! She's easily a size 8, and there's nothing wrong with that. But, if she were as comfortable iwth her body as she is claiming to be, she wouldn't have to jump out with a size 2 as her size.

She is not a size 2. Maybe a 4 or 6 but she is not a size 10 either. She looks like me and I am a size 4 or 6 depending on where I shop.

I feel for her that the media is making fun of her because of pictures, these pictues are real, she is a real life beautiful woman. I hope that young woman will see these pictures and realize how the pictures they see of stars are not really how they look.

There really is no way to judge someones size without checking there tags or throwing a measuring tape around there butt. You just can't tell by looking, so settle down.
I'm a fitness trainer and a size 12. Yes, even athletic people can have curves. However, lieing about weight and dress sizes just reinforces Hollywood's obsession with being thin. She's a size 8 (maybe a 6 or 10), but definitely not a 2. Just tell the truth Jen. We respect that more than your dress size.

Hey, I took a tour of Warner Bros and saw one of the outfits Jennifer Lopez wore in Selena. That girl's waist at that time was literally the size of a cantalope and we all know she's got a nice behind that looks huge in photos. It's all relative. If you yourself was standing beside her in the photo you'd be shocked at how little she really is.
My friend and I saw Meg Ryan one time at a video store and I swear if the store had turned on it's A/C it would have blown her down. She is so very petite.
I have a feeling JLH is the same way but has a full rear end. She's not fat by any stretch of the means.
I'm quite disturbed by the recent situation with JLH. I find it particularly interesting that she is justifying her weight and so upset about comments, when just a few short years ago, it was HER that decided it would be comedic to where a "fat" costume for Halloween. We have not watched her show since that pic was published... any kind of bigotry is cruel and uncalled for, especially by someone in the public eye.
