Sylvester Stallone to Direct 2 More Action Films

In response to Sylvester Stallone's awesome Rambo boxoffice comeback, the champ has inked a deal to direct and star in two action films with his Rambo producers of Nu Image/Millennium Films.

Several scripts are being considered for follow-ups to his surprise hit sequels to First Blood and Rocky.

With the studio’s new WGA interim deal speeding up the process, the first script is expected to be set by fall with production to begin shortly after.

In 2006, Stallone wrote, directed and starred in Rocky Balboa (Part 6) after a 16-year gap between sequels. The release grossed $70 million on a $24 million budget.

The second part of Stallone's comeback was Rambo, which he also starred in, wrote and directed. The film made $18.2 million opening weekend and earned a $25 million in its first 10 day release.
