Woman-Man is Knocked Up

A woman-man (or better known as a transgender man) is five months pregnant. Thomas Beatie broke the story to The Advocate a gay-sexual magazine.

Beatie who was born a woman, but started the process of becoming a man decided to carry his baby after his wife Nancy could not have children because of a hysterectomy.

Beatie says he, "stopped taking [his] bimonthly testosterone injections. It had been roughly eight years since [his] last menstrual cycle," he also claims he did not need the aid of any fertility drugs.

Beatie also says that his decision was met with some discrimination:

""Doctors have discriminated against us, turning us away due to their religious beliefs. Health care professionals have refused to call me by a male pronoun or recognize Nancy as my wife," he added, "most of Nancy’s family doesn’t even know I’m transgender."

This is not Beatie's first pregnancy, his first was with triplets that "was a life-threatening event that required surgical intervention, resulting in the loss of all embryos."
