Ashley Tisdale to Remake Teen Witch?

The remake machine just keeps rolling over all our precious memories, nothing is sacred, nothing is safe! Not even the movie Teen Witch, John Hughes you are next! If memory serves me right there has already been talks about Breakfast Club, but how about a Maid in Manhattan remake? Don't laugh they will get to it eventually.

Variety reports that High School Musical's Ashley Tisdale is in talks with "United Artists to star in a remake of the 1989 movie Teen Witch.

Variety also reports that the script has not been written yet, but what is there to write? Just Netflix the damn DVD, get a six-pack of beer, a pen, some paper and presto you are a Hollywood screenwriter! It really is that easy, I am already halfway through "writing" the script for Look Who's Talking Now, not to mention the prequel where the baby talks in the womb. I can recast Kirstie Alley because she is fat enough to pass as a miserable pregnant woman.
