I take one weekend off and Miley Cyrus decides to go topless? You got to be kidding me? She couldn't wait until Monday? The best part is, that it was Vanity Fair who decided to cash in on the tween star's flesh, so now the Internet doesn't look as sleazy.
Cyrus apologized to her fans in a statement to People: "My goal in my music and my acting is always to make people happy. For Vanity Fair, I was so honored and thrilled to work with Annie [Leibovitz]. I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be 'artistic' and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed."
"Artistic nudes" has always been a phrase pedophiles like to use as an excuse to look at little kids naked, but in Vanity Fair's defense all you really see is Miley's naked back, she just appears to be nude under a sheet.
Cyrus also addressed her bra flashing incident telling People: "The pictures of me on the Internet were silly, inappropriate shots. I appreciate all the support of my fans, and hope they understand that along the way I am going to make mistakes and I am not perfect. I never intended for any of this to happen and I am truly sorry if I have disappointed anyone."
Poor Miley is really on track for the nervous breakdown of the century. She has three-years until she is 18, when she will become fair game for sleazy tabloids and Blogs like 2snaps. You would think we could leave her alone until then, but Miley Cyrus controversy is hot stuff.
There was also a supposed uncensored topless picture of Miley published on Facebook Sunday. While this would be illegal for anyone to have some websites still published the picture , then quickly took it back. Some censored ones are still floating around, and people are saying they are fake, but if I were you I would be smart and avoid it at all cost. You are talking about a possible nude picture of a 15-year-old and that normally does not make the FBI too happy, no matter how famous they are.
