The Cars of Death Race 2008

Another day another remake. This time the victim is Sylvester Stallone's 1975 Death Race 2000. In the original Race the drivers were awarded points for killing pedestrians, the new Race left that part out. Instead Ex-con Jensen Ames (Jason Statham) "is forced by the warden of a notorious prison (Allen) to compete in our post-industrial world's most popular sport: a car race in which inmates must brutalize and kill one another on the road to victory." -- Imdb
