Quentin Tarantino to Direct Brad Pitt

Quentin Tarantino must have learned his lesson from his last film, Grindhouse flopping. So he is making sure his new film, Inglorious Bastards has a little more star power -- Brad Pitt.

Inglorious Bastards is based on Enzo G. Castellari’s 1978 movie with the same name. Tarantino plans to have his version premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2009. Simon Pegg and Nastassja Kinski are also in talks to join the cast along with Pitt.

Kinski is the daughter of Klaus Kinski, she gained notoriety by appearing naked in the horror film To the Devil a Daughter while still a minor. Bet they will keep that out of the movie's PR.
