MTV Wants Russell Brand Back

Why are we still talking about the VMAs? People don't even talk about the Oscars this long after they happen... the VMAs are so last week.

Anyway, despite forcing MTV to issue some bullshit apology to thousands of fat chicks and insulting the Jonas Brothers for being virgins, VMA host -- Russell Brand told The Sun that MTV wants him back for 2009.

Brand claims: "Afterward they were really thrilled. There was a 20 percent increase in viewers from last year’s show and, wow, isn’t life exciting," but I hate to tell him that 10 percent of the increase was just from the losers turning into hear and see the Twilight cast. Fans he managed to really annoy by cutting off Robert Pattinson while he was introducing the band Paramore.

Brand also claims that his script was cut down by MTV, one joke they didn't like about Sarah Palin said she "was forcing her teenage daughter to have a baby because she is so anti-abortion. But also, as a Republican, she is pro-execution so she is going to give her the electric chair for being a little slut."

Sounds fucking hilarious to me, they should invite him back.

I only watched the show to see Robert Pattinson and I was really annoyed that Brand cut him off. It was just bad manners. Brand's ramblings arent all that funny. They should have had Rob and Kristen to present. The problem probably wouldnt have arisen if there had just been two on stage.

Why get two supporting actors on there with them when the film is abotu the two leads. There wasnt time for all 4 to speak. It was stuid breakign down a few lines amongst so many. There certainly wasnt enough space in the isle for 4 to talk. It was a shambles from start to finish and to think I suffered that show for a glimpse of Pattinson.I guess the joke was on me but I wont be tuning in next year. Pattinson had better win all the MTV Movie awards to make up for this mess.
