The Guy Who Wrote the Notebook is Writing the New Miley Cyrus Movie!?!

Do you remember the Notebook, the movie that caused thousands of us to leave the theaters sobbing? Now imagine Miley Cyrus in it, or better yet do you remember Mandy Moore?

No!

Variety is reporting that child-superstar, Miley Cyrus is ready to shed her kiddy image and move onto more adult things like; a movie written by Nicholas Sparks, the man who wrote Moore's tear-jerker A Walk to Remember and the aforementioned Notebook.

Sparks is writing a book and the screenplay simultaneously for Cyrus to star in, and as bonus, Cyrus's mother, Tish, will serve as the film’s executive producer.

So is Cyrus trying to follow in Moore's footsteps? Not a really smart career move if you ask me. If I were her I would use Lindsay Lohan as my career guide. Moore is stuck opening up for Vanessa Hudgens in Iceland or some shit. Lohan is just way better off and has better movie credits than Moore. However, a cushy Sparks' film to make the teen-to-adult career jump is not a bad move, way better than having to bang the Two Corey's in Blown Away. Seriously, just ask Nicole Eggert.
