Dakota Fanning Getting Closer to Twilight

The bitch is back and she has her sights set on the Twilight franchise. Dakota Fanning confirmed that she is in talks to star in New Moon as Jane, who is described as a blonde with an "angel-like face [and] crimson irises." Director Chris Weitz thinks Fanning is so perfect to play the part he just offered her the role without even an audition.

Fanning said she "really hopes it works out," and that "It would be a really fantastic experience."

If Dakota is signed Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart better find their A game because Fanning will be bringing hers. We're talking about a kid who managed to overact in Dreamer and agreed to get raped for an Oscar. Stewart and Pattinson will not be able to continue to sleepwalk through the Twilight films if this 14-year-old is added to the cast. This is the comeback Fanning has been planning ever since her hiatus after her Hounddog fiasco last year. She is not going to let some snot-nose, pot-head, twenty-somethings fuck it up for her. She has been on Oprah, acted with Tom Cruise and is best friends with Steven Spielberg damn it! Stewart and Pattinson better stay out of her fucking way!
