Michael Phelps' Bong Picture

I'm already pissed that I couldn't get the 3D glasses for the Super Bowl commercials, and now my day has been interrupted by this! Yes News of the World published a picture of eight time gold medal winner Michael Phelps smoking from a bong...

A person who attended the party where the Phelps' pot puffing pictures were taken said “He was out of control from the moment he got there." Partygoers also said that Phelps "was loud, obnoxious and slamming beers from the get-go," and of course he attracted a crowd; “Every girl wanted a piece of him and every guy wanted to be his best buddy. He couldn’t get enough of all the attention.”

New of the World also claim that Phelps' "aides went into a panic over the story" and did their best to stop them from running the picture. This could hurt his chances of ever returning to the Olympics since they have recently implemented a 4-year ban for drug use.

What I really want to know is why NotW didn't wait until Monday to publish this? Come on people it is Super Bowl Sunday, even if you're not a football fan, you know it is basically a national holiday! Stupid English people!
