The "inside sources" are out in full force and reporting all kinds of horrible news about Chris Brown vs Rihanna 2009.

TMZ has learned from "law enforcement sources" that pictures taken of Rihanna after the "alleged" incident look "horrific."

"The photos show major contusions on both sides of the singer's face -- there is serious swelling and bruising. Her lip is split and her nose bloody. We have now confirmed there are bite marks on one of her arms and on several fingers."

E! News reports that Rihanna would not tell police what caused Brown to go Ike Turner on her ass, however, she did tell them there was no weapon involved.

Well whatever caused him to snap, must have been some serious shit if he BIT HER! That is taking woman beating to a whole new level. This doesn't sound like your everyday kind of lovers' spat.

Meanwhile Rihanna had to cancel a sold-out concert on Friday, Brown pulled out of his appearance at this weekend’s 2009 NBA All-Star Game in Phoenix, and Wrigley dumped his DoubleMint gum ads. We will keep you updated.
