Are You Ready for a Jamie Lynn Spears Country Album?

What did country music do to deserve this? E! Online has learned that Jamie Lynn Spears "has been quietly working on a country album since last fall."

A few close family sources revealed that Jamie has been trying to land a record deal and even cut a demo in Nashville but so far there have been no takers.

In 2002 Spears' told the AP that she did want to eventually try singing, but that was long before Casey Aldridge screwed up her life by dumping his load in her.
