The Top 5 Corporate April Fools' Day Pranks

April 1st is the one day a year that you should NOT expect to get real news from the Internet! If you want real news read the paper, it's April Fools' Day for god sake, the one time a year we can screw around.

Here is a video for the "spaghetti harvesting" prank. It is considered one of the biggest "corporate stunts of all time." On April 1, 1957, a BBC news program titled Panorama ran a segment about spaghetti harvesting in Switzerland, where farmers grew pasta on trees. After it aired hundreds of people called asking how they could get their own spaghetti tree. Making this the original "Punked" episode to ever air.

This comes via Fast Company who made a list of some of the greatest corporate April Fools' pranks in history, including Taco Bell renaming the Liberty Bell and Google's Mentalplex prank. Check out the list here, and be careful what you click on today, because you are probably being fooled too.
