Ninja (2009) Trailer

They're remaking everything else from my childhood -- Transformers, G.I. Joe, Land of the Lost -- so they might as well bring the Ninja movie back. I don't know know if ninja movies from the 80s made much sense, but they were all the hype when I was a kid, and Ninja (no release date yet) looks like it will do the genre some justice. Directed by Isaac Florentine and starring Scott Adkins, Ninja " a westerner named Casey, studying Ninjutsu in Japan, is asked by the Sensei to return to New York to protect the legendary Yoroi Bitsu, an armored chest that contains the weapons of the last Koga Ninja."
