Pixar's UP Number One at the Box Office

susan boyleThe animated feature Up beat out Night at the Museum and Drag Me To Hell for the number one spot this weekend. It also out grossed Monsters Vs. Aliens $59 million opening with an estimated $68 million. Up had the third highest movie opening for Pixar of all time, coming in behind The Incredibles and Finding Nemo, but ahead of WALL-E which opened to $63.1 million last year.

Night at the Museum slid 53 percent to an estimated $25.5 million, and Sam Raimi's Drag Me To Hell opened to $16.6 million on around 2,900 screens.

Here is the weekend box office's top ten. Notice Beyonce's Obsessed is still in the top ten after all these months!
