Adam Lambert Does Elvis For Details Magazine
Sorry for the misleading title... American Idol's Adam Lambert didn't DO Elvis -- I think that would be illegal -- he channeled The King for Details magazine. Or I think he is supposed to be Elvis, I really have no clue.
Anyway I have to give him some credit because if Clay Aiken ever had to do a photo spread like this, he would have burst into flames like a vampire in the sun. I'm glad to see that Lambert is not afraid of sticking his face in a little Va-Jay-Jay for the sake of his art!

Gaga wrote the song a while ago and she thought it would be a good fit for me. It's a solo track. I feel so honored and lucky to be asked.

He is doing a poor imitation of Chris Isaak's photoshoot and Clay Aiken wouldn't do this kind of spread, not because he's gay but because its ridiculous.
He's not doing an imitation of anyone, He's Adam!, yes, he's got similarities to other exciting entertainers, but, give the man some credit ~ his beauty, talent, personality and charisma is ALL ADAM, and somehow I just can't see Aiken being able to pull it off, yes, he has talent, but he's shouldn't be compared to Adam ~ really

Don't be too quick to make decisions about Clay and the female bod. There are two photographs out there with Clay's big hands wrapped around the boobs of two different girls. One of whom is rumored to be Simon Cowell's new girlfriend.
What bothers me is that this is an openly gay man with his hands all over a naked female. WTF. Let's see Adam with his hands all over a naked MALE. Her body matters not to him. This is SO just a promo attempt to appeal to Adam's lusting female fans. I find it insulting.

Why would Clay Aiken want to do this anyway? Adam is openly GAY. Clay was not open about it. (His choice). I don't understand why Adam would do a shoot like this? I guess his ultimate goal is acting. anyway, the only comparisons to make between the two is they are both good singers. Totally different styles, and they both are gay. No need to compare. They are highly talented individuals. I like them both. Gay doesnt' even matter.
Clay Aiken's voice is SHOT! If you think Aiken is a good singer, you obviously haven't heard him recently. His voice exhibits more cracks than a plumbers' convention.
The whole point of the Details pic and article is sexy is sexy regardless of sexual orientation. Adam is a fantasy to women and it matters not one bit that he's gay. He's sexy.
Send Adam over to me. He can twist me every which way he'd like for MY photoshoot.

I am amazed that Clay Aiken's name is brought up in this article. It is like apples and oranges. Personally, I would much rather see a picture of Clay being a decent human being, living his life the way he wants to. Adam Lambert is no Elvis and that is disrespectful to Elvis.
Everything that Adam does is calculated to get as much publicity as he can.....even if it is bad publicity. Adam is not sexy to me or my friends.
Adam's sexual orientation is irrelevant. Photos like these are art - look at the angles of the bodies, the facial expressions, the evocative response on both ends of the spectrum. He is modeling in this shoot, not posting it on match.com to meet chicks for crying out loud! Lots of people, modeling for photos or other medium, take on suggestive or sexually ambiguous poses for the purposes of dramatic effect. For example, models that are married may be asked to do sexy poses with other models, but no one calls them out on it as being unfaithful. Hm, that's called modeling - it's like acting, but in still frames. This is art, people. It's a beautiful photo regardless of his orientation. Just add modeling to the list of talents that Adam has in abundance, and enjoy the photo for the beautiful thing it is.
