America's Next Top Model

Adrianne Curry recently posted on her Twitter that she enjoys playing World of Warcraft "naked and stoned.

"jumping into shower.going to spend my afternoon playing World Of Warcraft butt naked&stoned.Perfect Sunday!"

She also tweeted a picture of herself wearing a headset, nude getting ready to play... World Of Warcraft doesn't seem so dorky right now.

Before we get to Jessica Drake lets talk about America's Next Top Model and how awful this season is. First of all I don't know why they eliminated this years villain -- Bianca -- in exchange for the whiney, immature, albino Erin. ANTM is boring without the obligatory crazy tranny-look-alike, and the new My Super Sweet 16 angle they are working with Erin, is just not working for me. Not to mention they eliminated her nemesis Brittany this week, so what the hell are we supposed to watch now? Erin and her breakdowns?

Since we know that Erin is the official producer's pick this year, and that Sundai is pretty much safe being the only black contestant left, it doesn't look very safe for Rae or Laura next week. At least Laura offers some entertainment with her country bumpkin schtick, if she is eliminated it is going to be a chore to finish watching the rest of this season.

Then there was possibly the worst photo shoot in Top Model history this week. Tyra's racially insensitive "hopa" -- I think she called it -- Hawaiian culture mixup, where they basically put the girls in "black face" for a "fashion's world interpretation" of different culture and races. They buried poor Sundai in a large blanket then told her she looked like she was modeling for "Gap Kids," and Brittany posed in an American Indian headdress with a red dot on her forehead. The entire idea was a mess, embarrassing and I thought all the girls looked silly. I could go on and on, but I need to get to Jessica Drake!

We recently attended the Exxxotica Convention in NJ and had the pleasure of speaking with Wicked contract girl Jessica Drake. Not only did Drake have enough poise and speaking ability to be an ANTM contestant herself, she was also profiled on The Tyra Bank's Show for a "Day in the Life of a Porn Star" segment. Tyra Banks is really shaking things up on America's Next Top Model this year! Last night she eliminated Bianca -- the obligatory Tranny Weirdo of the season. This character normally -- no matter how bad she does -- makes it pretty far in the competition, but Bianca's downfall came at the hands of Ashley, because Tyra was not about to send home the girl "she discovered" in the audience of the Tyra Banks show.

The episode started with a very, very long commercial for Walmart by Nigel Barker and his wife, Cristen Chin. The challenge involved a Supermarket Sweep type of race where the girls pushed and shoved each other around for clothes and makeup. It was the first time that ANTM may have portrayed the modeling industry in a true fashion. A bunch of bitches stabbing each other in the backs... Even though the albino Erin took it the most serious and scratched and clawed her way to the finish line, Sundai ultimately won the challenge and a $1,000 Wal-Mart giftcard.

The photo shoot was conducted by Tyra, who chose the winner right on the set, and that chick received immunity from elimination (the one with the big ears who was in the bottom two last week won). The bottom two came down to Ashley and Bianca, and Bianca was the one sent home. Mostly because Ashley is Tyra's protege and Bianca was in the bottom two, three weeks in a row.

It is a shame that we didn't have a chance to spend more time with Bianca because I just figured out who she resembled and now I have no idea who this year's villain is supposed to be (the trash talking Ashley perhaps?).

Whenever Bianca smiles -- which is rare -- she has this cash drawer set of gums that extends from the top of her mouth. I'm surprised the judges never warned her not to smile, because it is one of the most bizarre and disturbing things I have ever seen. She reminds me of Trap-Jaw from He-Man or perhaps the Alien Queen from the Alien movies. I wanted to have more time to study it, but now I will never get the chance. I hope the producers of the show have something great up their sleeves because America's Next Top Model is just not good without a villain. I really hope someone steps up and fills Trap-Jaw's shoes.  read more »

A lot of things happened on America's Next Top Model last night. There was a surprise double elimination, Tyra referred to Lauren Conrad as a fashion designer with a straight face, and for some reason she kept saying Madonna's name.

My favorite thing about ANTM is that they spend an hour pretending that modeling is about much more than it really is, then at elimination time, all they talk about is the contestant's "eyes." However last night, Tyra traded her favorite word "eyes," for "Madonna." She must have said her name at least 5 or 6 times, and I want to know why? Was she taking some kind of shots at Madge? Is she trying to start a feud? Can someone tell me what the hell is going on?

Anyway the producers once again decided to stick with this seasons obligatory "bitchy insane chick" instead of eliminating her -- even though she looks like a tranny. Instead they dumped the chick with the broken foot, which is good, because I was sick of hearing about her fucking foot.

Three people were arrested in a melee that started during a NY audition for America's Next Top Model this weekend, Michael Edwards, 24, Vanessa Quinones, 20, and Clem Clemmons, 40. The idiots were arrested out of thousands after police were forced to shut down the event because way too much fuckery ensued. They're being charged with disorderly conduct and starting a riot.

Banks and the show's producer released this statement:

"We are concerned by the events. We still don't know all the details of what triggered the incident. We appreciate the efforts of the NYPD and will assist them in any way possible in this matter."

Here is a helpful tip for the NYPD, only a real dumbass would take assistance or advice from Tyra Banks. Just tell her she did a good job, pat her on the back and let her think she helped. That is what the producers on all her shows do...It works well.  read more »

Supposedly a riot broke out during an America's Next Top Model casting call in NY. People were pissed that they were getting cut on line and blah, blah, blah. You can watch the video below.

Good thing this wasn't a casting call for "plus size" models or it would have been 100 times worse. You don't want to screw with thousands of hungry and angry fat people. Thousands of hungry and angry skinny people tend to give up quicker.

It was Nikki Blonsky vs. Bianca Golden.

Blonsky and Golden were arrested at Providenciales International Airport in Turks and Caicos, after they went to blows because Golden got pissed at Blonksy for saving seats for her family. TMZ.com reports that even Blonsky's father, Carl, got involved, beating up Golden's mother who had to be airlifted out of the airport. Nikki was also hurt and has been seen wearing a neck brace.

Both gals were released on $6,000 bail, but poor Carl Blonsky is still in jail for some reason. What they couldn't afford to post his bail?

OK magazine reports that things have got so bad between Tyra Banks and creative director Jay Manuel on America's Next Top Model that they "aren’t speaking."

A source also told the magazine that, "Tyra barely interacts with the contestants and only wants to show up on judging day."

So is this the last season for Tyra? Rumor is that Banks herself is looking for a replacement, while concentrating more on her talk show.  read more »

I have a few quick thoughts on American Idol this week that don’t quite fit into Idol War (which if you’re not reading, then you need to).

First, the new set and graphics sort of weird me out. I feel like I’m watching Idol in the future, where thanks to technology, tackiness has reached a whole new, sleeker level. I’m not sure if I like it yet. I’m not good with change when it comes to the look of my shows. I miss the ridiculous graphic of an androgynous singer riding a giant glass elevator through the floors of past winners. The outer space American Idol graphic just isn’t  read more »
