Another 80s Icon Dead: Corey Haim at 38!

First Boner from Growing Pains kills himself, and now 80s teen heartthrob, Corey Haim, has been confirmed dead by the LAPD of an apparent overdose. The actor was found unresponsive at an Oakwood apartment and rushed to Providence St. Joseph's Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 3:30am.

This would have never happened if he went on Dr. Drew's Celebrity Rehab.

Haim admitted his drug problem almost 20 years ago to TV talk show host Arsenio Hall, and
it was also well documented on his TV show, The Two Coreys, with fellow co-star Corey Feldman.

Haim got his first acting break on Edison Twins at the age of 12. Other roles include Lost Boys, Lucas, Dream a Little Dream and License to Drive.

He was 38-years-old.

The Day Boner Died

I just knew the Andrew Koenig disappearing act was going to end badly... and it did. The Growing Pains star and Mike Seaver's best friend, went missing on February 14th. Yesterday his body was found in a Vancouver park.

Boner's father, Walter Koenig appeared at a press conference Thursday evening to confirm the death of his son. "My son took his own life," Walter said.

TMZ had learned that Koenig suffered from depression and was "not doing good" in the days leading up to his disappearance. Celebrities Kevin Smith and Sarah Silverman (read their tweets here) asked for people's help finding Koenig on Twitter, and his sister, Danielle, appeared Tuesday night on CNN's Larry King Live.

Andrew was 41.

Brittany Murphy's COD Revealed

The L.A. County Coroner has released Brittany Murphy's cause of death; community acquired pneumonia, iron deficiency anemia, and multiple drug intoxication.

TMZ says Murphy's death was ruled "accidental" and could have been avoided if she went to a hospital in time. Instead she self-medicated with over-the-counter meds, something poor people like me do on a daily basis because of lack of medical insurance.

Come on Obama I don't want to die from drinking too much Dayquil! That is a shitty way to go.

Justin Mentell Dies in Car Crash

There were two big celebrity deaths on Monday February 1, 2010. First 27-year-old former Boston Legal actor Justin Mentell died in a car crash.

The incident occurred around 3:30am. A farmer spotted the Jeep while driving along a road outside Blanchardville, Wisconsin around 8:30am. Mentell was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and was thrown from the vehicle. There is no indication that alcohol or drugs were a factor until a toxicology report can be completed in six to eight weeks.

Jaws producer David Brown also died at the age of 93 on Monday due to kidney failure after battling a long-illness.

Golden Girl Deathwatch: Rue McClanahan

It is like the Grim Reaper is taking one Golden Girl away from us with each year that passes. In 2008 Estelle Getty kicked the bucket, 2009 saw the passing of Bea Arthur, and now Rue McClanahan (Blanche Devereaux aka the slutty one) is in the hospital.

The actresses' rep told ETonline that she had a stroke after receiving triple bypass surgery on November 4th.

"She's doing amazingly well. She's walking and talking and entertaining the staff with her feisty personality. She's rehabbing and is expected home in about two weeks."

McClanhan's husband told Broadwayworld.com (via Dlisted) "She can understand what you are saying in conversation, but still has some trouble speaking. Her speech is slower than it once was and she hasn't completely recovered on the right side of her body. She's going to require a lot more physical and speech therapy - but at least it's not like I stay awake at nights any more thinking that Rue is going to die."

Hopefully Rue can break the death streak and does not end up on our 2010 Celebrity Death List.  read more »

Tila Tequila’s Braless Interrogation

I would feel bad for Tila Tequila if she had really lost someone close to her, but in reality all she lost was her publicity stunt and meal ticket when Casey Johnson died.

Johnson's longtime girlfriend Courtenay Semel told People, "The thing I find the most sickening is that the media is giving [her] the one thing she craves: attention. Tila, you knew her for a week!"

Here is Tila doing what she does best, appearing braless, while being interviewed by police!

Kanye West Interrupts Patrick Swayze's Death

Just when you thought Patrick Swayze took some of the heat off Kane West, he screwed up again by interrupting his death... Just kidding, but West did give an almost teary apology on Leno last night. You can watch the video below until friggen YouTube pulls it.

And people let this be the end of the West/Swift thing, the man was drunk (something you probably need to be to attend the VMAs), and it was NOT the friggen Oscars! MTV's award shows are only interesting because of this kind of stuff. They owe him a thank you bottle of Henny!

Also Swift will survive! Get over it. Patrick Swayze died, go rent Dirty Dancing you morbid freaks!

The Man Who Ruined VH1's Fall Schedule

Ryan Jenkins was found dead and now VH1 refuses to air I Love Money 3 and Megan Wants a Millionaire.

Here is a quick back story for those of you who have not been following along: Ryan Alexander Jenkins was a suspect in his wife, Jasmine Fiore's murder, after she was found stuffed in a suitcase on August 20th. Soon after he fled to Canada, and was finally found hanging from a belt in a motel room on Sunday.

Jenkins was believed to be one of the finalist in I Love Money 3, and appeared on the VH1 reality show Megan Wants a Millionaire. When all the murder fuckery happened VH1 pulled both shows from their schedule. Today there was some hope that they would still show the third season of I Love Money, but those hopes were shot down after they released this statement:

"Just in case you missed it, we’re sad to announce that the fate of both Megan Wants a Millionaire and I Love Money 3 have been determined: both have been canceled and will not make it to air."

So not only is Ryan Jenkins probably a murderer, but he also seriously ruined some Fall TV watching for a lot of people!

Selfish prick!
