Guns N' Roses

Thanks Guns N Roses: Free Dr. Pepper For Everyone!

I told you we were all getting free Dr. Pepper, well the entire United States besides Slash and Buckethead because they are excluded. You may remember that the good Doctor Pepper promised to give "everyone in America" a free soda if Axl Rose released the long awaited Chinese Democracy. As you know album is finally being released on November 23 in Best Buy stores, so the soft drink company is keeping their promise.

How to get your free soda:

Visit DrPepper.com on November 23 and you will receive a coupon redeemable for a 20-oz. Dr Pepper wherever the drink is sold. You have to hurry because the coupon is only available for 24 hours and will expire on February 28.

You can also hear the new GNR song If The World during the closing credits of Body of Lies and Shackler's Revenge will appear on Rock Band 2 at the end of this month.

I like to thank Axl Rose and Dr. Pepper himself for this amazing opportunity. I wonder if that Blogger who got arrested for leaking the album online is also excluded?

Yay Free Dr. Pepper For Everyone! Guns N' Roses 'Chinese Democracy' Finally Being Released

Remember Mr. Dr. Pepper said he would give us all a free soda if Axl Rose released Chinese Democracy. Well according to MTV.com the official release date is November 23, and I am so holding Dr. Pepper to that shit. Please E-mail me and let me know how I get my free soda! Is there a coupon or something? Because my local 7-11 clerk is not going to believe this.

MTV.com Says:

"Last month there were rumors that frontman Axl Rose had inked a deal with Best Buy allowing the chain to be the album's sole purveyor, and that GN'R's manager, Andy Gould, told 900 Best Buy employees during a Dallas convention that the LP would be on store shelves by November 25. Now comes word from Hits Daily Double that Interscope has arrived at a hard-and-fast, set-your-clock-to-it release date of November 23.

Although a spokesperson for Interscope had not responded to MTV News' requests to confirm the report as of press time, Hits Daily Double claims the record will drop the Sunday prior to Thanksgiving, giving the record a full seven days at retail before entering the December 2 Billboard chart; typically, albums are released in the U.S. on Tuesdays."

This shit better be good, like give you an enema, back-rub and blowjob good, since Axl made us wait 17-years for it.  read more »

Blogger Arrested for Leaking Guns N' Roses songs

Hurry up pedophiles trade as much kiddy porn as you want via the internet, because the feds are busy arresting bloggers for leaking Guns N' Roses' songs.

The LA Times reports " five FBI agents arrested Kevin Cogill at his Culver City apartment, because he "posted nine leaked songs from an unreleased Guns N' Roses album."

Cogill faces up to three years in prison and $250,000 in fines, because a record executive may not be able to afford his quota in hookers and cocaine this year.

Slash (who Isn't even in GNR anymore) said: "I hope he rots in jail. It's going to affect the sales of the record, and it's not fair. The Internet is what it is, and you have to deal with it accordingly, but I think if someone goes and steals something, it's theft."

Theft or no theft I will never be able to feel bad for the record industry or bands like Metallica whining about losing money to bootlegging. I'm not saying it is right, I am just saying I could care less if the rich lose a little money.

Cogill was released on $10,000 bond and is being defended by a public defender.

Good luck!

Guns N' Roses 'Chinese Democracy' Dr Pepper Challenge

Dr Pepper may be the last person on Earth who still cares about Guns N' Roses' $13 million album Chinese Democracy. Frontman Axl Rose has been dangling the album in front of fans since the 90's, with its last scheduled release date being March of 2007.

Dr Pepper said he would give the entire US a free can of soda if the band would just release the album already.

Rose replied: "We are surprised and very happy to have the support of Dr Pepper with our album Chinese Democracy."  read more »
