Jennifer Hudson gave birth to a 7 pound, 14 ounce baby named David Daniel Otunga Jr. late Monday. Hudson never publicly announced her pregnancy, but rumors started circulating after she started wearing loose fitting clothes.

I shouldn't even be writing about this because I never watched I Love New York and I started watching American Idol after Jennifer Hudson was on it. However, I do love me some Dream Girls and I do know you have to be damn skany to try and compete for super skank -- "love."

Hudson just got engaged to her boyfriend of less than a year, David Otunga, aka Punk. Either Hudson is; really desperate, easily fooled, or Otunga isn't as bad as he sounds. I'm predicting they don't even make it to the chapel, or will be divorced in 3-months. He is pretty good looking though. I hope he doesn't give her any diseases.

The singer's rep told People, "I can confirm that Jennifer got engaged to her boyfriend David on Friday night in L.A."

Jennifer Hudson looks a lot thinner on her new album cover, and while some people are complaining that record executives may have had her photoshopped to look slimmer, I say why not? Amy Winehouse had to go on a crack diet to be noticed no matter how well she sang. Plus who wouldn't want to be digitally enhanced a little to look better on their own album cover? Does she have to stay "plus size" for other fat women to feel better about themselves? I could see people bitching if they made her white instead of black, but every celebrity, not caught by the unforgiving eye of the paparazzi, are photoshopped these days.

Plus it is nowhere near as bad as that Paula Abdul video with Keanu Reaves. The one where they stretched it out to make her look thinner. What was that called? Promise of a New Day?

The the self-titled album is set for a September 30 release, and the first single Spotlight was written and produced by Ne-Yo and Stargate. Other rumored collaborators include: Akon, R. Kelly, John Legend, Jack Splash, Christopher “Tricky” Stewart, Robin Thicke, Timbaland, T-Pain, The Underdogs and Diane Warren.
