Lady Gaga Picture of the Day: God Hates Gaga

Megan Phelps of the Westboro Baptist Church (those "God Hates Fags" people) claims god hates Lady Gaga.... And I hope that she is not correct, because I can't support a god who doesn't like Gaga. If it turns out that she is correct, I suggest we vote for a new god asap. I nominate Adam Lambert, he would sprinkle us with fairy dust and rainbows everyday and life would be much happier if he were god.

Phelps awfully parodied Gaga's song Poker Face to get the word out about his hatred for her. I dare you to listen to it below. Lets just say you will realize that god does have a sense of humor once you hear Megan's attempt to sing.

Lady Gaga Picture of the Day: Most Listened to Artist Online

From the Press Association:

Lady Gaga is the year's biggest artist for online listening, according to a leading music site Last.fm. Tracks from her album The Fame were played more than 18.5 million times by the site's 35 million-strong community.

The company analysed the tracks from full-length albums which had been streamed by visitors on the site to come up with their top ten.

Lady Gaga Picture of the Day: Grammy Awards

"The 2010 race for Best New Artist at the Grammy Awards was blown wide open this week, as the recording academy announced that the sure lock to win the award, dance chanteuse Lady Gaga, would not be eligible.

Lady Gaga is not eligible for Best New Artist because she earned a Grammy nomination last year, when "Just Dance" appeared in the Dance Song category. That nomination was a bit suspect, because the song didn't become a hit until January of 2009, and the cutoff for the 2009 Grammy Awards was September of 2008."

Lady Gaga Picture of the Day: Monster Ball

Lady Gaga's fall tour (which is decidedly free of Kanye West) has been officially announced, and it's called "The Monster Ball." She'll begin the 22-date trek in Montreal on November 27 and stay on the road until she closes up shop with two shows at Radio City Music Hall (a stage she knows pretty well) on January 20 and 21, 2010. Her show, which she describes as a "pop-electro opera," will highlight songs from her debut album The Fame and its expanded edition The Fame Monster, which contains eight new songs (including the just-released single "Bad Romance")... Lady Gaga Picture of the Day: SNL

"I have a new single that I'm actually going to be performing on 'Saturday Night Live,' [along] with 'Paparazzi,' and then I'm going to put out a kind of new body of work," Gaga told Star 94; the single she's referring to may be a new song fans have been calling "New York." "It's kind of a re-release but [with] more songs than you usually get on a re-release. It's called The Fame: Monster and that's [coming out] in November."

"I wrote almost a full album's worth of material and right now I'm kind of spending my time sifting through it all and doctoring it and making it perfect and deciding what I want everyone to hear, but I'm really proud of it. It's definitely life after The Fame."
