Vanessa Hudgens Fired from Disney, Replaced by Adrienne Bailon in “High School Musical 3”
I guess this clears up any speculation as to whether the nude photos that surfaced recently were really Vanessa Hudgens. Hudgens has been fired from Disney, replaced by a Cheetah Girl in the third film in her hit series, and her rep has confirmed the nude photos.
“Due to the recent scandal of “High School Musical” star Vanessa Hudgens’ naked photo scandal, Execs at Disney have parted ways with the star and have decided to replace her with “Cheetah Girls” star Adrienne Bailon.
The decision came just hours after the scandal became public and got to the offices at Disney. Says insiders, ‘It was an extremely hard decision to do. Vanessa has become apart of the family, but we felt it was irresponsible of her to do what she did.’
It has now been announced that Bailon, star of another hugely successful Disney franchise ‘The Cheetah Girls’ will replace Hudgens in the role of Gabriella, Zac Efron’s love interest in the upcoming ‘High School Musical 3’. Both Hudgens and Bailon’s reps denied a comment, as well as the reps for Disney.” - US Weekly
This is pretty sad. I think Hudgens should have been able to finish out her series. It is not like 5-year-old children watching that movie are really going to know about her bush. And Disney called her “irresponsible” for being naked, which made me laugh.
UPDATE: “Oh my, that story is so 100 percent not true,” Vanessa’s rep told In Touch. “Vanessa’s not an ‘employee’ of Disney, there’s nothing to be fired from.”
I get that she isn't an employee of Disney (I personally never saw her handing out Churros in front of the "It's a Small World" ride), but her rep forgot to deny that she has been replaced in Part 3 of "HSM."

She was smiling in the picture so obviously she knew the pic was getting taken and then in the artical it said that she hired a photographer to take a personal picture and the photographer betrayed her and posted it on the internet.

YES!!! i am SOO glad she is fired. i did NOT like her, i just knewwww that she was the biggest SLUT ever and of HSM thats the one part i hated most is these 2 PERFECT preppy little freaks. Ok, first of all she's old enough to make her own decisions and what she does in her private life is her own business. She's not the only one to take pictures of themselves and give them to boyfriends and such. It's a shame that someone was so cruel enough to put them on the web , but she should'nt be condemned for it. I think that it won't be HSM3 without vanessa. And who knows, it might not even be real. Did vanessa even put it on the internet? Or was it just some worthless wannabe who wanted to see her go down. Vanessa was my fan ever since the first movie came out and she was my role model. Humble, innocent and honest. But ever since the photoes spilled on the internet, I have been thinking, where has the vanessa i have always known gone to?
I know that some fans might have thought that she isn't that kind of girl, but that's because what we saw on HSM1 was Gabriella, not Vanessa. I, too, couldn't accept the fact that she was in those nude photoes, but after some research on the Internet about the incident, she actually admitted that she had done it. And Disney has already fired her. I feel sad that she isn't in HSM3, as number 1 and 2 was such a hit. And she was the main charactor, but at the same time, maybe she does deserve to be fired. It wasn't nice of her to take nude photoes of herself and herself "kissing" her friends.
Well, I guess Zanessa, the what i thought was the hottest couple ever, is gone. Oh well, at least now Zac is single! Lol...

I think this is a dumb move on Disney's part. Yes, it was dumb of her to take those nude photos but she apologized. And that doesn't change the fact that it was dumb but she stil apologized. I'm all for firing her and everything. Trust me I'd be the first one to jump on that band wagon but HSM 3 won't be the same without her. When you look at Vanessa Hudgens you identitfy her with Gabriella. You say 'That's Gabriella from HSM'. The third installment may be great but no one is gonna want to see it with out Vanessa. What Disney should do is keep her in third film just so that they can make a lot of money then fire her if they really want to.
