Jay-Z Proposes to Beyonce Knowles

According to reports, notoriously successful hip-hop artist Jay-Z has proposed to his long time sweetheart Beyonce Knowles during the couple's recent trip to Cannes. As most would have expected, Beyonce said yes.

Publicists for the pair report that the two plan to marry in the autumn, most likely in Hawaii.

Knowles was quoted as saying, ""I want to get married and really want a family - in a perfect world I'd have two boys and a girl ...You know someone loves you by the way he treats you and respects you. Me and Jay respect each other."

Various sources have reported that Jay-Z promised Beyonce "the biggest diamond she can fit on her finger."
